On this particular Wednesday, the sunset from my bedroom window is everything. It's the cool breeze on a scorching hot day, it's the sip of water when you wake up with a desert throat, and it's a hot bath after working out. The orange pink hues dance from bright to dark before the orange slowly fades as the pink overrides, turning into a soft purple, and then nothing but pitch black night sky with shimmering stars. I hug my cup of cocoa tighter, enjoying the warmth of it on this cool evening.
My house is colder upstairs than it is downstairs, but I was stupid enough to leave a few windows open during the day. I pull my shoulders up, snuggling into the thick material of my hoodie as I bring the cup to my lips, enjoying the heat that engulfs every corner of the inside of m
