ILIANA'S POV -- Standing in my mid-thigh black dress with long sleeves that flare, I stare down at the funeral bulletin. It has a gorgeous picture of my mom printed on the front page. I wish I weren't here. Staring at her picture, tears prick at my eyes, the sting in my eyes affecting my heart. Flames of pain wrap around my heart, and the ache doesn't go away as I put the bulletin down on the table near me, and watch as guests, my mom's friends, swarm into the church for her funeral. They're all dressed fancy with head pieces, acting like they lost a beloved. It is her friends, so I guess it's fine.
