Fire I clenched my teeth together as Andrew and I carried Barbara towards the infirmary. Barbara might've been small and thin, but looks were deceiving. She was much heavier than she looked. Under different circumstances, I would have teased her about it. But now, seeing her exhausted and wincing face, I held my tongue.  I couldn't describe the feeling of relief I had experienced when she had appeared through the smoke. Truthfully, I had already started to convince myself that she was gone and that's why I had panicked and told Andrew we needed to do something. It was my fear and guilt that had pushed me to act. But if that meant we'd save Barbara against all odds, I would have done it over again.  Now that Stheno was dead, I didn't know what would happen next. The future was uncertain
