Fire Just like Andrew had suggested, we kept our heads low for the next couple of days. Since the fire in the common room, all our Saturday activities had been canceled with the exception of chores.  The staff kept a closer eye on us as a new system of rules and regulations were placed. The headmistress had decreed she thought it would be best for everyone to remain in their rooms and a staff member would come to collect us before breakfast, lunch, or dinner and we were only allowed to go to class and then back to our rooms.  It was a prison-like system that no one seemed to enjoy. Not even the staff. We had all been close once, like a big family, and that was beginning to change.
