Fire The next day flew by quickly. Alex and I decided to skip breakfast since we woke up late and were in no mood to see anyone just yet. We stayed in our room talking like the old times, talking about anything and nothing at the same time. It was nice, just pretending there wasn't anything different between us. For a moment, we were just two girls having fun and talking nonsense.  When we were younger and we used to do things like these, Barbara would come looking for us and ask us if we were okay. She would sit beside us and join in on the gossip and before we knew it, another hour or two would have gone by.
