Andrew, Alex, and I were rushing through the corridors towards the room Barbara had given us access to. Alex was following behind us silently but I could tell she was both intrigued and confused as to where we were going. She didn't say anything when the hallways turned dark and empty. She only placed her arms around her body and shivered.
I was glad I had brought my jacket with me because this part of the manor was much colder and more hostile than the rest.
