The pained screams of Bane's men got further and further away as we ran down hallway after hallway until we reached a door. On impulse, I kicked it open and ran inside with the rest of my people behind me and when Jack, who was the last one to enter, closed the door behind us, the screams all went silent. The room was dark but with a few quick words from Ava, a ball of light appeared out of thin air and illuminated the room. I blinked my eyes against the sudden brightness, and I looked around.
