RIEKA POV.
The roof gave way under me, and I found myself sinking through the roof with debris and dust. I tried to grab onto something, anything, but it was in vain. All I saw was Steven’s face looking down at me in horror before I felt my body hit the level below me… or was it the level below that? I wasn’t sure as I screamed out in pain. I rolled onto my side, but quickly had to grab a hold to where I was because I was suddenly looking down through a whole and onto the manor ground floor below. I heaved in pained breaths as I tried to push myself away from the ledge. I had no desire to get down that way by falling again.
