FROM the kitchen, Carmen watched her wife as she spoke with someone on the phone.
It was pretty obvious that the conversation did not go according to the tall woman’s expectations. Before the call has ended, Zeeki arrived in the unit. A bag was perched on his back.
“Did you find him?” That was the alpha’s question before the beta could place the bag down.
Prima scratched the back of her head. She sat down on the chaise.
“Our men went to the address that we found in his profile. The landlady told our man that the culprit moved out three months ago. His ex-wife has no communication with him. It was verified by the investigators of the local police.” Zeeki disclosed.
The female alpha exhaled. Her wife appeared to have aged at least a couple of years.
