I had a lot of thoughts going through my mind, and I felt bad thinking back on what had happened. Was our desperation to cling to Leah due to us being mateless?
Just seeing the Alpha and Luna walk into the pack house hand in hand made me sad and cursed for not finding someone who was meant only for us.
"Paul," I called in a whisper, hoping he would awaken from our subconscious.
"Don't you think it's enough sleep for once? Should I forcefully wake you up?" I asked.
I was about to do so when I heard footsteps approach me.
