Alexander’s POV
The buzzing of my phone instantly woke me up. Hurriedly I grabbed it off the floor and answered it with a whisper so Kit wouldn’t be woken up.
“Hello?” I whisper into the speaker having answered it without even looking at the caller ID. It must have been early morning because I was certain that Kit and I had been curled up together sleeping for a number of hours at this point. My voice and mind were muffled with sleep but the voice that came from the other end of the line quickly snapped me out of my daze.
“Hello cousin.”
