I had been feeling uneasy since Council Member Harper had left. I hated the idea of my father being free. Especially with me being pregnant. I had thought that we wouldn’t have to worry about him ever again. I had enough to deal with before this. It didn’t help that my stomach waas starting to get very uncomfortable. Jake had run me a warm, soothing bath and told me to try and relax. I was grateful to have him. I hadn’t found anything helpful in the library. Jamie was coming over later and I had hoped to have found something to put my mind at ease. Jake asked if I was scared about my father.
