Lance and Cliff have really made sure I don't get a moment of privacy with the guards assigned flanking my side everywhere I go.
I know they are doing it for my safety after the conversation we had about Valentine and his threats.
But how am I going to explain in my place of work that as a newbie, I have people looking out for my safety? They'd be left wondering if I am a walking time bomb.
I grab my phone and shoot Lance a short message.
" Can the security withdraw once I am insíde my office?" I type then hit send.
It doesn't take long to receive a reply from him.
" We will discuss this when I get home. We can have the guards escort you to your office and keep watch outside your office. No one will know they are there. That way, you will be safe and we will have peace
