“I have to think about this,” I say to Blu.
I sit up in bed as Blu goes silent. I’m shocked by the call. I don’t understand what Xavier is up to, because he must be up to something. There is no way, he wants to work with me.
I don’t believe it.
Something is definitely up.
“I get that. But can you do me a favor? Can you at least agree to meet with Xavier and his team for a sit down so they can show you what they’re talking about,” Blu says trying to convince me. I wonders why she’s working so hard to convince me. I would have thought that she would work hard to keep Xavier and I apart. But she seems to be working to get us closer, because that’s what will happen if we start working together.
I shake my head, because this sound ridiculous.
