No enticing scent reached Nathaniel as he walked through the village, checking various streets and shops as he passed in faint hope of that one intoxicating smell that would tell him that his mate was near. Exiting from the back of the community, the five warriors strode across an open field keeping their eyes peeled for any danger that might find them. The future Alpha snuck a look at his father, taking in his angry aura and hate filled looks that he sent toward his brother in law when he thought no-one else was watching.
