The telephone rings and rings and rings, but no one bothers to answer. With the chaos in the room, I don't think anyone notice the sound. Everyone screams, they run out of the door and then come back moments later with a dozen of papers and files in their hands. The huge desk is full of white sheets all thrown by people trying to prove their plan is the only one that will work. I remember when I first entered this room. I was mesmerized by the size of it and the beautiful marble floor that trambled under Emilia's foot. Now it seems small and crowded. Maybe because I grew up and I am not that little girl that knew nothing about the world, devouring every word coming out of Emilia's mouth. I sigh and get up. "Hei. Iris speaking. Emilia is not here right now." I say as I pick up the phone.
