"Move, people! Move!"
"What happened?" I ask Alex as soon as I see him. Everyone runs around packing weapons into big trucks. Some are still in the pajamas as they scream orders. Some look still confused after being brutally awakened by the alarm. But they all have solemn expressions. The tension is palpable.
"There is some unusual activity at the main base of The Lance. We think he is trying to separate the worlds now. We called everyone from all bases. It's chaos in here." Alex answers between screaming orders. "Emilia is in her office. She wants to see you."
Then he leaves to get some more munition from downstairs.
I look at Carol. He rolls his eyes but smiles as he kisses my forehead.
"Go! I will help them here."
I nod and sprint towards Emilia's office. The hallways that an hour
