I opened my eyes, rubbing them as the light from the sun came through my bedroom window. It took me a moment to come too and reached for Asher, he wasn’t there though. Maybe last night was all a dream? I slowly sat up, taking a moment to think about things, realizing it was not a dream, it happened. I had agreed to be with my best friend…I agreed that if he left his wife he and I could be together. I know it was selfish in a way cause he was still married but at the same time the heart wants what it wants right? I honestly never realized my heart wanted him this much until last night, until we made love. I never thought him and I would be more than best friends…best friends that have s*x, that was something I never seen for us but so much has changed this last year.
