It was late after Edison got down from the top of the mountain. He got on a taxi, and then returned to the village. He was in a very bad mood because of Vivian, who has changed a lot after graduating from school. The city is like a dye vat, contaminating the minds of young people.
That’s all inevitable sometimes. Edison could not accept that Vivian, as a doctor, gave up ethical bottom line and her vocation. She’s not in the least thing a qualified doctor that Edison would like to admit.
Seeing a doctor costs money. If all the doctors in the world are blinded by money, only the patients will suffer. If what a doctor thinks about is not how to cure the patient, but to make the patient have to spend more money, the doctor deserves to be dismissed from his post.
