Mariah laid the man she carried on top of his coffin. It was obvious he was in a deep sleep and she found herself wondering how long he shall sleep and what she should be doing during the time. She can’t stay there with him till he recovers, her people would come looking for her and if they happen to find him like that, knowing her father and brother, they would decide to kill him off now that he wasn’t a threat. She sat beside him on the coffin, staring at him while biting her nails. What should she do? How should she play this? The more she thought about it, the more confused she became and she ended up pacing around the cave and soon, the first light of the day flitted into the cave.
