“What?” Asher was stunned, and then he thought about it. Obviously, the man could teleport earlier, so why hadn’t he gone home? Why did he lurk around and be taken care of by Mariah?

“Let’s not be hasty, who knows, he might provide a way for us to see her? Do you think Mariah would agree to go years without seeing us? I don’t think so,” Aliyah said, and Irene nodded.
Asher sighed, and he ran his fingers through his hair. Naomi laughed at him, and he glared at her, but she stuck out her tongue at him before leaning on Aliyah. A loud screech was heard then, and Edward tensed up.
