*Gabriella’s POV*
Waking up the following day, I felt relaxed.
I know I made the right decision stepping down as Queen. I wasn't ready, and my mother wasn't willing to let me take over.
And I know following the path the Goddess had planned for me is correct. I can oversee the kingdom and help my birth parents as the goddess helped me.
So I get out of bed and check on the twins and change them and make sure I feed them both, then get ready for the day. I know the goddess is going to make me train hard.
Xavier comes to me in the bathroom and lifts me, and sets me on the counter. Standing between my legs, he lifts my chin and kisses me.
“Are you ready for today, love?”
I rest my head on his chest “yes, I'm ready, honey,” I say, not knowing if I am ready or not.
