Sitting with Xavier feeding our babies was perfect to begin the day. Knowing he will be beside me, showing the humans we are not scary or want to harm them. When Xavier told me about the little girl loving white tigers made me more confident in what I would do.
Xavier and I took the twins to Ruby, and then we walked outside and gathered all the human women and children together near the waterfall. I can see them looking around in fear. Maybe this wasn’t such a good idea. So I look over at Ruby, who has both the twins in her arms. Ruby nods at me, then lean in and whispers in Alexi’s ear. And he walks back towards the house to get ready to shift into his dragon,
I look over at Xavier, who is standing beside me. And he wrapped his arms around me, so I decided to begin.
