Chapter 10 Wes had been gone for most of the day, and I was seriously dragging by the time five o’clock rolled around. When he’d come to my office at ten o’clock that morning, he’d made sure I’d have plenty of magic and energy to get me through the day. The couch in the corner that had once been just for catching catnaps was now one of my favorite pieces of furniture ever.
