The Coles rushed to the hospital, their hearts racing with concern. Grandfather had requested that they all come and see him, and they knew that it must be serious.
As they arrived at the hospital room, they were greeted by the sombre face of the doctor.
“I’m afraid Grandfather’s condition has taken a turn for the worse,” he said gently. “He’s asked to see all of you, and I think it’s best if you go in now.”
The family nodded, their faces set with determination. They knew that this might be the last time they saw Grandfather, and they wanted to make the most of it.
As they entered the hospital room, Grandfather looked up at them, his eyes weak but full of love.
