Nathan's POV
The death of my mate caused me a lot of pain in my heart. I was so broken. Why does it have to happen now? We haven't spent quality time with each other, now she's gone.
I cried my eyes out. I just couldn't bear it.
I decided to stay indoors for three weeks to mourn her death. "I loved her so very much, that I can do whatever it takes to bring her back," I said to myself.
It's the second week of the mourning period.
Since I belong to the dragon clan some rituals must be performed for the souls that are departed.
It is normally done in the range of three weeks. Where candles are lit in different lanterns and turned into the Air. I wrote a love message to her, talking about how our next life would be. We would just come as mortals and happily die together.
