I walked into the kitchen and started a pot of coffee.
Ethan came in shortly after it finished brewing.
He walked past me and pressed a kiss to the top of my head.
"Baby sis."
I smiled.
"Big brother."
I poured myself a cup.
"Hey, what are your plans today?"
"None yet. Why?"
Ethan leaned against the counter.
I wrapped both hands around my coffee.
"I need to do something today."
His expression changed.
"I need a distraction, E. I honestly don't think I can take much more."
Ethan didn't even hesitate.
"Then let's get the hell out of here. Go grab your s**t. We'll start with f*****g breakfast."
A smile immediately spread across my face.
"Really?"
"Get your ass moving."
