“Nova stop.” She keeps trying to take her hand away from mine but I hold her tight.
She sighs. “You are being so annoying right now Dominic.”
I keep her hand tight in mine as we walk into school.
“What the hell is this?” Harvey asks walking over to us and looking at our hands.
“What do you think? I lost a bet.” Nova says pouting and Helix starts laughing.
Harvey laughs and I look at her annoyed.
“No, Harvey. She’s my mate.” I say correcting her.
He gasps. “What?! Since when?!”
“Since her birthday.” I say.
“But why-”
“It doesn’t matter.” I say irritated. “Just know that we are.”
He lifts his arms up. “Ok, ok... Hahaha!” He starts laughing.
