-Nova POV-
I wake up with excruciating pain on my face. I immediately hear Dominic call me.
“Nova!?”
I look at him and I thank the goddess that he seems fine.
“What happened? What happened after I blacked out?” I ask desperately trying to get up.
“Calm down baby, we have to call the doctor.” He says.
I can see that I have poor vision sight. I lift my hand to my face and feel my right eye covered with a bandage. I wince as I feel pain when I touch it.
“Did I lose it?” I ask.
He looks at me with concern. “Let me call the doctor, he can tell you better-
“I don’t want to hear it from the doctor Dominic. Tell me.” I give him a nod, telling him that it’s ok.
He looks down. “Yes, they couldn’t save it.”
I nod and take a deep breath.
