When Tristan saw Milo coming out of the school, he took a step his way, then caught the dark expression on Milo’s face and stopped dead in his tracks. Something had gone wrong. Milo climbed in his car and drove around to where Sheila stood waiting, then after she’d climbed in, he took off.
