“In bed by six, huh?” Rain came walking back into the living room. He’d been tucking Pip in. “Can’t say I didn’t try.” Tristan stretched his arm over the couch’s seat and leaned back on the old weathered thing. It was nearing eleven and Pip was finally asleep. He’d been unusually talkative this evening, sharing in the laughs and even telling a few stories from school. Pip had made a friend named Micah and seemed to be happy in this new friendship.
