Maggie sits thinking about her conversation with Mateo last night when Hastings comes in to tell her it’s time to get ready for her appointment. Mateo suggested she speak to the doctor first before rushing into their marriage. At first, she felt a little offended, but as they talked, she realized that he was simply trying to act in her best interests, as he always has.
