Everything appears like a dream now that it passed. The things that happened right in front of our eyes were nothing but memories now. But even so, I cannot deny that it didn’t make any significant difference for us- especially for us humans who developed several attributes that put us at an advantage, but at a disadvantage at the same time: a fulfilling job as a lifesaver.
“Your heart is more stable now.” I said as I tapped the shoulder of my 42-year-old patient who’s been getting consistent check-ups since a year ago. And today, she finally got healed from her disease. “You may get a tired of hearing this from me, but even when you feel okay, please do take your pills regularly and always call us whenever something odd happens to you.” I reminded.
