I’m good with the breakfast and packed lunch you made me. You have a dinner meeting at 7, right?” she smiled. Shrugging, Vincent leaned over to her to reach the door. With their faces close to each other, Elliana stared back at his clear, grey, eyes. “Dinner isn’t tiring. I can at least help in bringing you here and getting you home since we’re friends.” For some reason, Elliana’s heart sank after that. “It’s okay, Vince.
