Councillor Fornack’s mouth falls open, and I’m pretty much positive that mine has done the same thing as we all stare at my Alpha.
‘On what grounds Alpha?’ the younger Councillor demands.
Caden’s smile widens as he replies, ‘on the grounds that Travis was conceived on my pack territory whilst his mother was still a member of my pack.’
I do the math in my head, my eyes widening as I realise that my brother in law could be right. Arthur and I mated and marked the night of the claiming, right here on Diamond Star territory before I had returned with my Mate to Black Mountain and been initiated into the pack. I found out that I was pregnant eight weeks later so there is a possibility that Travis was indeed conceived on Caden’s pack lands.
‘Well . . ‘ Councillor Fornack mutter
