Gabi’s POV
The door opens and I watch Alpha Monty walk into the room, followed by Alpha Black. You could tell that Alpha Monty was scared of Alpha Black and then the door opened again, and Derek slipped into the room and walked over to check on his mom. Monty looks absolutely pissed and his chest is rising and falling quickly as he tries to calm himself down before he starts a war. I am so glad that Derek took after his mom, at least in his looks, because I can’t stand to even look at Monty, and with Derek standing by his grandfather I could see the resemblance between them.
