From the rearview mirror, I watched Briella's silver car creeping along the street at a measured pace with three cars between her and my car.
I had caught a glimpse of her a while ago gripping the steering wheel until her knuckles turned white. Beside her, I had seen Kevin, my cousin. They’ve been following me for nearly thirty minutes.
