She stops pacing and stares at me.
“What are you saying?” She asks me and I see the torment in her eyes. Why am I such an as*hole?
“What I am saying is that you shouldn’t be upset with him. It’s hard to lose a loved one, and if you could do something to stop that, wouldn’t you?” I ask and she sighs and looks away.
“Depends on the situation.” She answers.
“Well what would you do if the situation was reversed?” I ask and she shakes her head, looking into my eyes. I notice the small twitch in her jaw as she answers me.
“It doesn’t matter. The situation is not reversed.” I go to retort, but she stops me. “And for the record IF the situation was reversed I would understand and let him make the decision.” She snaps, almost as if she knew I was going to argue another point w
