Ziana’s POV “I’m telling you she will be fine. We were able to pull the excess dark magic from her system. It looks like Alpha Killian’s mark is still there, but it faded. We aren’t sure if it is due to the spell, or him being lost, but we won’t be sure until he comes back. It could be a bit of both.” I hear Esmorelda’s older voice explain. It’s like she is standing at the end of a long tunnel and I’m stuck. I can hear everything clearly, but can’t see or move to find her. “And her dark magic from before?” I hear my mother ask. “There are still traces of it, but very faint. It’s all but gone since she received her wolf.” Esmorelda answers. Then I feel a warm hand grab mine. “Oh my sweet girl. You have been through so much. I wish I could have stopped this. I wish I could have seen it.
