Evangelina’s POV
“Do you have any other questions that I can answer?” I ask.
Before he speaks I grimace as small tingles start to form in my heart. I begin to rub my chest in hopes that it would go away, but it never does. The tingles turn into what feels like small bolts of electricity zapping me everywhere under my skin. I continue rubbing my chest and take deep breaths, knowing that the feeling will go away soon.
“Are you okay?” Henry asks in concern.
“Fine. Just give me a minute.” I grit as the electric shocks grow stronger, signaling that my mate is almost done. After a few more minutes of the pain it goes away. And I wipe my sweaty forehead.
