“Would you want to go for a walk?” Warrick asks and I blink up at him in confusion.
“We need to get back to planning.” I state, but he just looks at me blankly.
“You mean, the planning that we just solidified and communicated to our top warriors?” He asks and I shrug.
“Yea, there is always something else to do. We could talk to everybody regarding the interrogations on Hadley.” I say and his eyes darken just a smidgen.
“Planning is complete, and I need a moment of reprieve before I listen to those interrogations. She is gone and poisoned me, if there was anything that was more important than that, somebody would have come and told me. Right?” He asks and I sigh. I guess he’s right, and he hasn’t gotten a break from this nonsense.
