Evangelina’s POV
As I walk to the clearing where we have begun piling the dead enemies I take note of the large pile that just keeps being added to. There are at least 100 bodies piled.
“Come on man. Why can’t you just let me unstack and count them? I’ll do it myself. I don’t need help.” A man's voice asks loudly, almost veering into the shouting range.
“Orders. You are one of them and haven’t been vetted. Maybe you’re looking for someone or something special.” Another man says. I can hear the disgust in his voice.
