Owen I knock on Amelia’s bedroom door with Ava at my side. A few moments pass before Amelia opens the door to see who it is. She used to just call for me to come in, but now that an invitation will allow anyone in, she makes sure to see who is at her door first. “Good evening, Maya,” I greet. “Would you be so kind as to invite in Ava?” My mate interrupts before Amelia can respond. “I thought you could invite me in.” I slowly turn my gaze toward her. “I can.
