Bella's POV
I woke up with a start. I feel like someone is watching me, watching us. It's still dark outside, and Liam is sleeping soundly beside me. I reached for my phone to check the time. It's only 2 am.
I got up, suddenly feeling thirsty. I put on my robe and slowly went out of my bedroom to get water. The whole house is so quiet. I walk to the dimly lit living room. Some light is coming in from the glass window. I went straight to the kitchen, grabbed a glass, and filled it with water.
I looked out the window and watched the darkness. I thought about the accident, and I can't help but shudder. I could have died. My daughter could have died. Whoever this guy is, he really wants us dead.
