I lifted my head and groaned, I opened my eyes letting them adjust before turning over. It was seven in the morning; I reached for my phone and placed it against my ear.
"Hello," I said still half asleep.
"Hey baby," my heart fluttered at his words and I smiled.
"Hey… I thought we weren’t going to call each other, that’s the whole point of this road trip. To see how much we want each other by not communicating till I get back," I said pulling the covers off and walking down stairs.
“Yes but I miss you and I can’t handle being away from you with no communication it drives me crazy. What are your plans for today?" I pulled the juice out of the fridge and poured myself a glass.
"I think me and Chloe might go for a swim in the lake and maybe just watch movies. What about you?"
