My phone kept on ringing all day and I was getting annoyed so I answered it.
“ what?” I said a little rude but I don’t care.
“ who are you talking to like that and why aren’t you in school?” Liam said and I rolled my eyes.
“ I wasn’t feeling too good so I asked mom and dad if I could stay home and they said yes since it’s Friday they didn’t have a problem with it.” He went silent for a moment and I held my breath, waiting for him to talk.
“ never mind I’m coming over.” Before I could say anything else he hung up the phone. Shoot I didn’t want him and dad to get into another fight so what do I do? I got up and ran towards mom and dad’s room and knocked on the door. Mom opened it and I asked her if I could talk to her in private and she said yes.
