. . . ELEANOR A whimper escaped my lips and I opened my eyes with a pounding headache. The room spinning slightly as I tried to sit up. My memory was hazy, fragments of the previous night slipping through my mind like sand through fingers. I recalled getting heavily drunk but nothing more. My head ached for putting too much pressure on it. I decided to let go whatever the f**k happened. Groaning, I swung my legs over the side of the bed and stumbled towards the bathroom. I stripped myself out of my clothes and stepped in the warm water running. The warm water of the shower cascaded over me, slowly easing the fog in my mind and soothing my aching body. I leaned against the tiled wall, letting the steam envelop me as a satisfied moan escaped my lips. That’s what i needed the most
