♡ Megan ♡ The cool evening air brushed against my skin as I stepped onto Shane and Casey’s balcony. It was a small space, framed by string lights that cast a soft, golden glow. Beyond the railing, the city stretched out like a living painting, its patchwork of lights blinking against the darkness. Somewhere in the distance, a train rumbled faintly, its sound merged with the quiet hum of the city. It was beautiful, but the beauty couldn’t calm the storm inside me.
