I stood at the trailhead and surveyed the group of hikers, who were all gathered for the community hike. I had organized this event, and I felt like it was a natural step after the success of the charity fitness day. It was just another way to bring people together and to give back. Plus, I needed the distraction – as always. I would do just about anything to keep my mind off Megan.
