“You bloody bastard” he cursed and rained punches on Kai who didn't have the chance to reciprocate all that Rex was doing to him.

Mrs. Wilfred Ashley and Tracy screamed at the top of their voice trying so much to stop Rex from hitting Kai too much. But he was too violent for them to hold he was powerful and it looked like he had a superpower different.

Kai struggled to Pull away from Rex, but he already caught him off-guard making him completely weak to fight.

Ashley screamed at the top of her voice calling out to Rex, and as usual, he heard her voice and stopped the fight. Staring back at how deeversticated she was he pulled away from Kai who was already weak to the cure.

Tears rolled down her cheeks as all these things happened in front of her, her heart, her brain, her mental health, she can't take it all. It's draining. And without thinking much she walked close to Rex and landed on his cheeks a resounding slap. Causing a gasp from Mrs. Wildred and Tracy.

Tracy stared at her friend in a very perplexed way.

She refuses to believe that Ashley did that to Rex.

Rex stared at her with pain in his eyes, Ashley has never raised her hand on him before. And now she has done that for Kai! It pierced his heart deeply.

“It's none of your business who stays with me or not, I don't want to ever see you” she muttered angrily, and Rex's heart shattered into pieces.

Everything was confusing to Tracy. Why were Kai and Rex fighting over Ashley? All this questions nagged at her.

Kai manages to stand up and take a sit.

Mrs. Wilfred walked over to Ashley and pulled her with anger written on her face, she tries to slap Ashley but Kai got in the way and stopped her from doing so.

“You will not do such a thing mother” his words came out like a command. At this point, he no longer cares what his mum thinks of him, he loves this woman, and he doesn't care if disobeying his mum will make him prove how much he loves her.

Mrs. Wilfred stared at Kai as he uttered those words to her, her heart snake's into her stomach as she recalled how Kai prevented her from heating Ashley.

She shook her head and walked out of the mansion through the exit door.

Rex was devastated, yes he was, he was tired of giving his all so he turned and took the stairs leaving Ashley Kai, and Tracy.

Staring at Kai for the very last time, Ashley took the stairs while Tracy Trailed behind her. Tears rolled out of her eyes as she ascended the stairs.

Walking into her room she left the door open and Tracy walked in.

She walked closer to Ashley and pulled her into a hug. She doesn't know what was happening but she knew she couldn't be stupid at this time.

She is angry at what Ashley did down there. But she knew Ashley needed a shoulder to lean on.

Ashley leaned on her shoulder and tears rolled freely down her cheeks. She is too young for all this.

“You should freshen up, it will help relieve all the tension” she assured and pulled her out of the hug. She can't deny how angry she is at Ashley but she wants to be there for her.

Ashley nodded and walked into the bathroom leaving Tracy in the room.

Curiosity was eating Tracy up. She wants an answer to all the questions nagging at her. She stared at the room and she spotted a picture of Ashley and a picture of Kai placed on the table. She scoffed inwardly and looked away, she wasn't willing to believe that it was exactly what she was thinking of.

Ashley stepped out of the bathroom with a white towel tied to her body. She ignored the burning look on Tracy's face and proceeded to her wardrobe to get something fitting.

“Tell me it's not true” Tracy muttered calmly and Ashley ignored her, acting like she didn't hear a word from her.

“Answer me, Ashley” her words were not calm at all.

Ashley sighs and turned to stare at Tracy.

“Why did you leave Rex?” she questioned with anger resounding I'm her voice.

“Because he is not worth it” she yelled back and Tracy scoffed, and batted her lashes in disbelief

“Are you being serious right now, he isn't worth you. What do you even worth?” she questioned angrily and yelled.

“Oh really? And you feel like the next person to fall in love with is his brother? Come on Ashley are you this ridiculous?” she ultered out of anger and Ashley yelled back at her.

“I might be worth nothing, but at least, Kai is not going to ignore my call because he found a lady that has what's more than mine” she retorted and tears streamed down her cheeks as the image of that picture played in her head while shutting Tracy up.

Tracy stared at Ashley as she managed to walk herself to the bed, the pain, the emotional trauma was too much for her to handle.

“Did Rex cheat on you?” Tracy questioned the moment she found her voice back and Ashley nodded pathetically before sniffing and cleaning her eyes.

“He didn't only cheat on me, he had them recorded and sent to me,” she muttered calmly, and Tracy gasped, shaking her head in disbelief she walked closer to Ashley and muttered.

“I don't believe you, Rex will never do such, you know he loves you” she tries to convince but Ashley chuckled sarcastically.

“He doesn't love me. if he does, he wouldn't have shattered me,” she replied a bit casually

“Look, Ashley, something seems wrong, maybe someone was trying to jeopardize your relationship with him.” she tried to make Ashley see things her way but Ashley was not willing to hear her out.

“Nobody cared about our relationship Tracy, don't defend him,” she replied casually like she was not angry but off cause she was deeply hurt.

“And that was the so-called reason you decided to jump on his brother” her words were harsh. But Ashley ignored them. Of course, she didn't have the strength to be stressed.
